Celebrating Saudi Founding Day at MGIS: A Journey Through Heritage

24, February 2025

At Modern Global International Schools, we proudly celebrated Saudi Founding Day across our campuses in Digital City and Qortuba, bringing students, teachers, and staff together for a day filled with learning, culture, and excitement. The event highlighted the rich history and heritage of Saudi Arabia through activities that made the celebration both fun and educational.

A Step Back in Time

Students had the opportunity to experience Saudi culture firsthand. A camel stood at the heart of the event, symbolizing the country’s deep-rooted traditions. They also engaged in traditional weaving, a craft passed down through generations, and expressed their creativity through Saudi-themed drawings.

Tradition Comes to Life

Dressed in traditional Saudi attire, our students proudly showcased their national pride. The celebration was brought to life with traditional dances and cultural performances, leaving everyone entertained. Saudi cuisine added to the festive atmosphere, allowing students to savor the flavors of the Kingdom’s culinary heritage.

Treasured Memories

Students expressed their creativity through coloring, drawing, and crafts inspired by Saudi traditions. These hands-on activities, along with traditional performances and cultural experiences, made the event a perfect blend of education and entertainment.

At MGIS, we believe in celebrating history, culture, and the values that unite us. Saudi Founding Day was a true reflection of our commitment to fostering pride and awareness among our students. We look forward to more celebrations that honor our heritage and create lasting memories!
